Imagine I've lived near a library I didn't know about & found a while ago - a captivating & aesthetically pleasing one, too. (And I’m a true book worm). Definitely the coolest library in Singapore & centrally located in Somerset 313 on famous Orchard Road.
A beautiful modern architectural, white & bright library with wide spacious corridors & lots of scattered seating that feels inviting to anyone who’s eager to browse or read books or magazines. A well stocked place with curved shelves & good lighting.
Many seats are slightly tucked away for quiet reading, but also directed towards the view outside right next to large windows with lots of light. This is a haven from outside busy life, but above all it’s a beautiful library & a great place to switch of, read & and relax with one of the many treasures on the shelves & just enjoy the moment.

One of my favorite place in Singapore. library@orchard is located on L3 of Orchard Gateway shopping mall. Free entry, don't bring food/water from the outside and please keep quiet. So many books in English & Chinese here. They also have the meeting room, PC, many seat area so you can rest and enjoy reading all day here. Easy to find this library, just come to Floor 3rd and you'll find the sign.
A library located within a mall, offering a vast collection of books for on-site reading without the need for membership registration. The bookshelves have a unique design, and the reading area is comfortable with plenty of seating. The staff on duty is very friendly.
Library@orchard is located at Orchard gateway shopping mall. Very accessible by MRT, car, walking distance in the shopping districts in Orchard. Beautifully designed and layout of the library shelves - picture-perfect place to visit. At least two-floor high library to chill, air-conditioned and find library books to read. Many selections of books to get from this library too :)
Very conducive place for studies or unwinding with plenty of space, seats and books for you to spend time in Somerset/orchard.
The book selection here is very deep and assured yo keep you entranced for hours if you enjoy books!👍
First of all, i came here struggling of the google maps is miss leading about location, after visit its very good the ambience, the lights, and all book packed well at location, for calm and enjoy for the reader, this is the place to go
Clean and quiet, though reading and working areas can be rather occupied, and closely spaced together.
